Welcome to Montréal

The purpose of the conference is to bring together physicists and philosophers and to provide a forum where different aspects of the nature and ontology of spacetime can be discussed.

The Third International Conference on the Nature and Ontology of Spacetime will commemorate the one hundredth anniversary of Minkowski's talk "Space and Time" given on September 21, 1908. While papers on any of the topics listed in the Conference Topics will be welcome, we especially wish to encourage submissions on the nature and legacy of Minkowski's contributions to the theory of relativity.
